Experience - From 1961 to 1964, Mr. Wachtel was associated part time and full time with M. A. Rietzke and Associates, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. 1964 to Present: Mr. Wachtel joined the firm of Orville Varasso and Associates and gained experience in all capacities including project manager. He became a Partner in the firm of Varasso, Wachtel and McAnally in 1981 which became Wachtel and McAnally Architects in 1988.

Mr. Wachtel's experience as a project manager include new facilities and renovation work in both the public and private sectors. These various type projects include schools, colleges, criminal justice facilities, libraries, office buildings, health care facilities, industrial buildings, restaurants, retail outlets, banks, MR/DD and mental health facilities, animal shelters, etc.

Duties And Activities - In addition to general office administration, Mr. Wachtel's primary responsibilities are estimating, project coordination, specifications preparation, construction administration, including field observations and directly communicating with clients and contractors.
