Garry McAnally,
R.A.- Principal Experience-
Mr. McAnally started working with Orville
Varasso and Associates in 1977. He became a partner
in 1981 and has been the designer for the firm since 1979.
Prior to that time he had worked for Loren J. Staker, Architect
in Duties and Activities- Mr. McAnally is responsible for the design and programming for all projects. He also acts as a project manager for many projects which involves coordinating all communication between the owners, consultants and staff members of Wachtel & McAnally Architects. He reviews the schematic drawings, design development drawings and working drawings, and also visits the job during construction to ensure that the original program and design elements are enforced throughout the entire project. He also is in charge of all interiors, including finishes, colors and furniture. Criminal Justice Experience- Has experience with all requirements of full service, five day, eight hour, sentenced misdemeanant, and community based correctional facilities. Responsible for all jail programming and design. Works closely with Owners and Owner’s representative during all phases of project. Familiar with grant application and approval process. |
